Winston-Salem and Wake Forest

Today John and I did some exploring while Matt was in class.  We discovered a beautiful old house called Graylyn Manor, and walked around the grounds for a bit (we later found out it was a conference center and not a public spot, but no one asked us to leave while we were exploring, haha).  Then we explored Reynolda village and house, which was also really great.  There were some awesome gardens at the Reynolda property, and the house was gorgeous.  Unfortunately, many of the flowers were not yet in bloom, but it was still fun to walk around and take some pictures!  Once Matt was out of class, we had lunch together and then walked around Matt’s campus – Wake Forest.  It is a beautiful campus, and the library was amazing!  We got some authentic North Carolina barbeque for dinner, it smelled and tasted amazing!
