Fun Weekend

John and I had a really fun weekend and are sad to see it come to an end!  As always, we’re already excited for next weekend!  My fun weekend started with a yummy girls lunch (sans Amanda sadly) at Café Chloe.  I had the special which was a yummy eggs benedict, and we shared good times and great conversation over delicious meals!

Friday evening was DT’s “Fabulous Friday” event, (the once a month team-building activity I plan for DT), which we spent at one of our favorite bars downtown – the Shout House.  I’ve written about the bar a couple of times now, so I won’t go into detail, but it was extra fun this time around because it was spent with nearly the whole DT team.  We enjoyed many fried appetizers, fun tunes, and refreshing drinks after a long week at the office!  It was great to unwind and have a great time together to end the week!  (Props to Jamie Hamel-Smith from DT for most of the amazing pics featured here from the Shout House!)

Saturday was spent catching up with some to-dos, but today John and I enjoyed our Sunday with a fun lunch date at a cute little restaurant in University Heights called Red House Pizza.  I had a delicious eggplant Parmesan sandwich, and John indulged in a yummy meatball sandwich.  I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ve recently gone gluten free because I was having stomach issues.  I’ve been feeling much better, which is awesome, and Red House Pizza had really delicious gluten free bread!  They also had gluten free pizza which John and I are excited to go back and try. 

Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend, as well!  The weather here is still gorgeous.  John and I enjoyed running errands with the sunroof open this afternoon. :)
