Our hotel has free wifi, so I thought I’d do a quick blog
post! This morning John and I left South
Beach and had a long day of driving. We
are now in Crestview, FL for the night, and we’ll be leaving for New Orleans in
the morning. I decided I had to post
because John and I just had the most amazing dinner. We looked on Yelp to find a good place for
dinner, and found a fantastic little place called Country Chick N’ Fish. It was the best fried chicken I’ve ever
had!! John ordered the 2 piece fried
chicken with sides of mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy, and I
ordered a 2 piece fried chicken with sides of mac and cheese and green
beans. We both ate our entire meals! And
John and I also shared an order of fried giblets. I convinced John that we should try them, but
he was still a little skeptical to try until the really friendly owner gave us
some samples – they were delicious! The
owner was so nice, we were telling him about our trip and he talked to use for
over 20 minutes as our chicken cooked.
Anyways, I thought I’d just make you all a little hungry with my food
post.
